The main disadvantage of the recarburizer is its small specific gravity, only 0.6g/cm3, while the specific gravity of molten steel reaches 7.8g/cm3. Therefore, after the recarburizer is added to the molten steel, it floats to the surface of the molten steel and enters the slag and burns.
2. Toner cored wire recarburizer is to wrap the toner in the steel belt. Although the composition is uniform, the writing can achieve accurate carbonization, but due to the light weight of the cored wire, it needs to be greatly increased in molten steel. It takes a long time to meet the production demand.
