Silicon carbide ball science

Silicon carbide is a new type of strong composite deoxidizer, replacing the traditional silicon powder toner stop deoxidation, compared with the original process, the physical and chemical functions are more fluctuating, the deoxidation effect is good, the deoxidation work is short, energy saving, improving steelmaking efficiency, improving the quality of steel, reducing the consumption of raw and auxiliary materials, increasing environmental pollution, and improving electric furnace power and economic benefits.


(1) Silicon carbide balls are wear-resistant, improve the stability of raw materials, reduce the thickness of the mill and the volume of the ball, and increase the volume of the mill by 15%-30%.


(2) Uses: secondary for electric furnaces and cupola furnaces, as oxygen absorbers;


(3) Used in casting and steelmaking industry (special steel, stainless steel, T steel, G steel, K steel and other factories can be used), improve the temperature in the furnace, extend the melting industry, improve steel output, and play a role in carbonization, deoxidation, silicon addition, heating and so on


(4) It can also be used as a substitute for ferrosilicon. And there is no dust purification in the furnace, the reaction speed is fast, and the cost is reduced, which is a new way in the steelmaking process.


(5) The useful metal oxides are restored to metals that are absorbed in the steel, increasing the loss of molten steel and increasing the output.


(6) The heat energy generated when the silicon carbide element oxidizes can increase the amount of electricity used and prolong the operation work.


(7) In the process of consuming manganese steel and chromium steel, the loss of manganese and chromium can be increased.
